I have a problem. I sent off to the archives in Raleigh for records for a death that took place ca 1954. They said there was no record. I received the information that the man died in Hendersonville around 1954. He died about a year or two before his father who died in Feb 1955. The man is Ralph H. Martin born ca 1900 in Buncombe Co. He then lived in Atlanta for years and moved back to NC. I got the information from Ralph's niece who may have gotten the place confused. She swears it was in NC and is pretty sure it was Hendersonville. Is there any other place to look to find out? Any suggestions?
