Susan Jones sjones@monroe.lib.mi.us ****************************************************************************** ************************ Susan, There are abstractred deed books for Halifax Co. from 1759-1824; Will books from 1758-1824 & 1825-1854; Estate books from 1759-1805, 1835-1855, 1868-1909; Extant bound estate records from 1765-1853; Marriages from 1818-1867 and in the Halifax Co. Library there is a list of marriages that have been recorded from old deed records.The 1850 and 1860 Halifax Co. census has been abstracted and published. As for Daniel family information I am going to refer you to Payne Daniel who wrote an excellent book on the Daniel's family. His e-mail address is GPDRAL.
