Flossy, Who is the author of the book "History of Halifax County"? What time period does it cover? I am looking for any history of Halifax Co. in the early 1800's. My gg-grandfather Michael M. Connell and his brothers (Chambliss B., John W. and Nathanial L.) were born there in the early 1800's. I think their family were members of the Baptist church at Daniel's Meeting Place. Their mother's name may have been Nancy.
