Susan Jones, at the Univ. of Mississippi, is inquiring about the early history of Halifax Co., and I can't seem to provide her with enough additional information to help her out. I understand that Halifax Co. has a good public library with good history holdings. Does anyone on this mail list know the snail-mail address of the library--or a URL if it has a website? I would like to post this info on our NCGenWeb county site, as well, or any other resources that you might know of that I've missed! Thanks for any help you can give Susan--her email address and original question follows (please cc me, too). Elizabeth (Betsy) Ross Halifax Co.
