Do you know where Joseph Lane lived, before coming to Halifax? I see he was already in Halifax by 1760, according to the Land Grants book, by M. Hofmann. So many of these people came from Virginia. I, too, would like to know something about Joseph Lane, though he has to be younger, or junior, in Halifax. He married a Sally Brickell. Was wondering if you knew anything about them. Who was Sally?
