My ancestors, Joseph Lane Jr (1710-1776) and Patience McKinne (1712-1762) lived in the Halifax County area. I'm trying to locate a record of their marriage, which occurred in 1730. As they lived in Halifax, I thought that might be where they married as well. I'm hoping to find specific dates and perhaps even a specific location.
