Are there any on this list who are researching the MILLS family of the Halifax County area? My line resided in Northampton, Halifax, Edgecombe, and then Wake Counties, NC. My ancestor, Naaman Mills (1757-1835) served in the North Carolina Militia during the American Revolution, under Col. Benjamin Seawell of Halifax. Naaman Mills was the son of Abraham Mills. Naaman's children were: John, Matthew, Nathan, Britain, Shadrack, and Lucretia Mills. William A.
