When I first started investigating my son-in-law's family, within three weeks I had more information on his family than I had found in 35 years of research on my own family!! It was because of the famous Brig. Gen. that was on Sullivan Island when the British wouldn't even allow the prisoners to fish for their meals. More or less, starved them to death!! He died there with his troops. Would be interested to know what you also have on Elizabeth Hogan, the daughter of Lemuel (I'm assuming) that you have info on her marriage and her family. I live in Ohio and had the "fun" of visiting the site they have a memorial roadside sign where he owned and lived for a while close to Hobgood. Do keep in touch.
