Fishing creek today is partially the border between Nash and Halifax County. I grew up about 1/4 mile from it and spent many hours roaming and fishing it. There are really two, Big Fishing and Little Fishing. They run together near where I lived. There are no towns nearby. It is abut 10 miles from Red Oak, NC, near Salem community. I would have to see a map to identify which border it is on, but I think it is the northern border of Nash and southern of Halifax. Glenn
