I am new to your list. I am researching the Champion surname. What I am mainly looking for is a birthdate for Jordon/Jordan/Jourdain Champion. He traveled west from Halifax, NC to Tennessee, in about 1806. The only information I have on his birthdate is Abt. 1777. Jordon married Rachel White who was also from N.C. She was born in Abt. 1790.
