I have a 1905 map of EdgecombeCoynty N.C. The county is in sections. The northern most part is called Upper Fishing Creek. Just south of that are three sections. The most western section is called Swift Creek. The center section is called Lower Fishing Creek. The eastern portion is called Deep Creek South of these are Sections call Rocky Mount to the far west. Next to the east is Walnut Creek. Next to the east is Tarboro. Next to the east is Upper Conetoe and just south is Lower Conetoe. Across the south border is Upper Town Creek,Cokey and Lower Town Creek , then Otter Creek and Sparta.
