As an NCGenWeb Archives file manager for several northeastern NC counties, I would be delighted to help you find good places to share those resources! Halifax has GenConnect boards on which you post your various transcriptions yourself, and/or I can see that the records get posted on the appropriate Archives web page as well. Our part of the state is the oldest, and research here is important to more than one of our current counties, so if you can't decide which county board to contribute to, please don't hestitate to ask for help and advice. Halifax Co. is also lucky to have John Godwin hosting its NCGenWeb County website now. He and I are working together to encourage all our mail list members and website visitors to join forces and build some really impressive on-line resources. Obviously, we need your help--sharing is what it's all about. The more search engines we can place your contributions in the path of, the better! We like, of course, to have your permission and your sources stated in all your postings. The only caution I would offer in sharing is that we all avoid posting copyrighted material without the owner's permission. Forrest, and all of you, just shout and we're here to assist.
