I have read, I believe in Gammon's book of Halifax Estates, about three men being ordered to settle the estate of John Brickell. He d. 1789, and in 1801, this still has not been settled. Can anyone tell me how I would find out when it was settled, as the courthouse will not trace those happenings for anyone. Thanks for any suggestions as to how I might find this. Marcia Bourdeau
