Is anyone researching the John H Currie family who lived in Halifax Co? John worked for the state farm at Enfield. Wife Samantha Ann Smith, children Charles Currie, William Thomas Currie, and Nora Currie (m John W Porter from Duplin Co). I have two old letters written by Samantha in late 1900/early 1901 concerning her own family and her ancestry. At the time, Samantha was an old lady living with her daughter in Mooshannee in Moore Co, but John was still working in Halifax.
