Hi list, I haven't written much. I have a question to ask and I guess a favor. Where is the county seat for Halifax Co.? I need a couple of wills copied from Halifax Co. I found them in the book NC Wills: A Testator Index 1665 - 1900. If someone can tell me how I might get copies, and the cost I would appreciate it. I am looking for my 4th great grandfather and I have an idea that I might be close. Philip Adams, Sr. was born in Halifax Co. but moved on to Wake Co. but we have no clue to his father but hoping to find him in one of these wills. Thanks. Brenda Adams Rhodes
