My G- grandmother was Rebecca King, b. 1849 and married Benjamin Robert Powell in Halifax Cty. Her mother was Susan E. King. From the 1870 census, Susan was 45 years old. Susan appears to be listed as the head of household, with Rebecca, age 21, Isaac age 18, and Lucie age16. Unable to find which King that Susan married. The King bible lists William, Rufus, and Edward b. about 1812.
