Hello, My name is Chris and I am new to the list. I am interested in communicating with anyone on the list researching any Bird/Byrd families. My ggg-grandfather was Griffin Bird b. Dec.18,1806 and d. Nov.30,1884. Griffin was married to Sally(Sarah) Perry in Nash Co.,N.C. Feb.21,1831. I am trying to find who Griffins parents were and from what Bird line he comes from. Most of the info I have on him places him in Nash Co.,N.C. but I have come to a dead end and thought I would try following some of the migratory routes and see if I can come up with anything. I am not familiar with Bird/Byrd families in Halifax Co. i.e. the purpose of this post. So if anyone has any info on any Bird/Byrd families I would be truly grateful for any info that you might share with me.
