Have any of you researching Halifax come across any Drews? I am trying to prove a connection of my John Drew (first wife Pheriby Bell, second wife Mary?) to a set of parents. His children were Absilla Bryant, Elizabeth ( Betsy ) Boggan, Ruthra Hob(p)good, Thomas B. Drew, and Reddick Drew. John was born around 1755, lived in Halifax County until around 1800 then migrated to Anson County where he died around 1816. Pheriby disappears in documents and Mary appears as his wife around 1795. Mary may have been the widow of Orundatus (sp?) Davis. Any information would be appreciated. I have other information relating to this family to share. Patty Edwards
