Looking for any OZMENT data from Guilford Co, NC. In particular I am trying to connect James H. OZMENT, Sr and a John OZMENT, who might possibly be John Lafayette OZMENT. Both appear to be in Guilford Co, NC in 1800; John might have been there as early as 1790. Who did John marry? Possibly a daughter of Daniel SULLIVAN, d. 1805? James H. OZMENT, Sr, born ca 1755, supposedly married a Martha ARDENT/ARDER, believed to be Indian. John born ca 1763, possibly in Maryland. Both John and James H, Sr. believed to have moved to Wilson Co, TN by 1811. I am interested in any Guilford Co, NC OZMENT data. I have quite a bit and would like to fill in the gaps.
