In trying to pinpoint a more exact location of where my ancestor (John PAVEY) lived (1803-1807) near Jamestown I hope someone will be able to answer a couple of questions for me. . . . . . . >From what I can tell, his property was on Bull Run Creek/River (northeast of Jamestown) which came off of Deep River. His property was in between John TALBOT and Samuel LAMB (md: Hannah Beeson.) John TALBOT had a mill on the west side of his property and I understand that is now under water due to the High Point Reservoir (along with the original Mendenhall plantation.) His entire property may even be under water as well. I have been told that quite possibly John PAVEY and Samuel LAMB's properties were not taken for this reservoir. I believe quite possibly this area MAY be where the Guilford Co. Sanitarium is/was. Does anyone know if this sanitarium still exists? Can anyone help shed some light on this subject for me? Thank you. Marsha McWilliams
