Hi, all Trying to determine the parents of Elizabeth L. MARTIN (b.September 22, 1829, NC; d. 1911, Guilford Co., NC, buried Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Greensboro, NC) . She married December 29, 1853, Guilford Co., NC to Nathaniel G. OZMENT (b.February 23, 1817, NC ; d. March 22, 1883, Guilford Co., NC, buried Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Greensboro, NC). The 1850 census, Northern Dist., Guilford Co., NC lists Nathaniel OZMENT (single) living on his family farm adjacent to one Alexander MARTIN (possible lead ?). The 1870 and 1880 census reports, Guilford Co., NC, list another female ("sister-in-law" of Nathaniel OZMENT, sister to Elizabeth) named Francis (sic) MARTIN (b. abt. 1836) termed "idiot", living in same household with Nathaniel and Elizabeth OZMENT. These same census reports state Elizabeth and her parents were born in NC.
