I am looking for information on my GILMER family of Guilford County. Does anyone have any information on WILLIAM GILMER who was married to SUSANNAH SHAW. There son was JOSEPH GILMER married to MARTHA FORBIS. JOSEPH GILMER & MARTHA FORBIS were married in Guilford Co. in 1800. Moved later to Maury County, Tenn. where their daughter SARAH GILMER was born. She married THOMAS PULLEN. SARAH GILMER was my GG grandmother.
