Pam, My William Harrell was born about 1831 in Guilford County according to the 1850 federal census. His wife was Mary Smith, born about the same time. Known children were James Harrell, b. 1850, Martha J. Harrell b. 11 Jan 1854 and Eliza Harrell, b. cir 1856. I believe that Mary Smith may have had a sister Minerva. I am trying to find out who William's parents were and where they originated from. Martha J. Harrell married Charles T. Nelson 10 Oct 1870. Charles Nelson was my gg grandfather. Both the Harrells and the Nelsons have been very elusive. Pat
