I have found the following site to be particularly relevant to the questions on Guilford Quakers: http://www.rootsweb.com/~quakers/index.htm If you click the button on left labeled "Quaker Heritage" it will give you a list of Quaker surnames. Beal and Harold (sorry, no Harrel) are there. If you click the button on the left labeled "Meeting and Records" you will find a list of Quaker Monthly Meetings from all over. Some of these have links to specific Meetings, including Cane Creek, New Garden, NC, New Garden, Pa., and Hopewell (Frederick Co.), Va. Kennett, which has its own link, was another source of Pa. Quakers who moved south. Kennett and New Garden, Pa., were closely related. I just checked these links and they don't seem to be working tonight.
