Hi, I am looking for information on the TUCKERs who probably came from DE to Guilford Co, NC. I have a Samuel TUCKER b ca 1748 in DE(probably Sussex Co) and d 1819 in Christian Co., KY. Samuel was married to Mary "Polly" last name unknown. They had the following children: 1. Charles b ca 1770 m Mary DILLING Guilford Co., NC 20 Jan 1791 Guilford Co., NC 2. Easter m Robert RUSSEL Guilford Co., NC 17 April 1798 Guilford Co., NC 3. Sarah m David RUSSEL Guilford Co., NC 15 Sept 1800 Guilford Co., NC 4. Manliff b ca 1790 m Frances BROCK Christian Co., KY 5. Levi 6. Patsy m John BRIGHT Christian Co., KY 7. William m Mary FORBES Christian Co., KY 8. Zadock 9. Ezekiel m Polly GIBSON Christian Co., KY 10. Nancy m Jesse MEACHOM Christian Co., KY Samuel had two brothers: Levi and Zadock. Zadock was killed during the American Revolution. Zadock stated on his application that he was 5' 8" tall and was born in Sussex Co., Delaware. He stated on the 23rd of February 1778 that he was twenty years of age. Levi married Margaret Causey and had the following children: Anderton, Mary, John, Abbit, Zadock, Nancy, Diana, Leah, Sarah and Elizabeth. Samuel and Levi moved to Guilford Co., NC around 1784. In the early 1800s Samuel moved to Christian Co., KY and Levi stayed in Guilford Co., NC. Any help with these families would be most welcome. Thanks...Patty
