    3. Good Morning, It's been quite some time since I've posted any inquiries to the list so thought I'd give it another try since I'm still trying to find out more information on the following families. Much of the following information is proven, some speculation, and I do have more information for those that may be interested. John PAVEY, wife (Mary ANDERSON?) migrated to Guilford Co by 1800 census along with probably the last remaining Nicolites from the Caroline Co, MD/Kent Co, DE area. Apparently, Mary died and John married Frances "Fanny" MARTIN in Guilford on Jan. 21, 1801. Bondsman was Nathaniel MOORE. (John PAVEY purchased land near Jamestown @ Deep River in 1803, sold it in 1807.) Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol. 1, Minutes and Marriage Records...1801, 3 Frances PARAY (form. MARTIN) dis mou. According to Quaker records, Fanny was born 10/19/1758 and she and her family recrq. 1779, 1, 4. (Where from??) "Fanny" was the daughter of James MARTIN. James MARTIN's will was pro. Feb., 1796 names wife: Mary; Sons: John, James and Henry, daus: FRANCES MARTIN; Mary BEESON and Hannah SILLIVAN (Sullivan?) Execs: Nathaniel MACY and Paul MACEY (actual copy of this, PAVEY is written after Paul, then lined out and MACEY entered.) Wit: Joseph IDDINGS; NATHANIEL MOORE; Samuel LAMB (Samuel LAMB was John PAVEY's neighbor, 1803-1807 and signed both of his deeds.) Rebecca PEAVY/PAVEY md: Richard OZMENT in Guilford, on Jan. 11, 1816. He MAY have died within a year (will prob. May, 1817) and had previously been married to Rachel RASHFIELD (this is pure speculation at this point) and probably the son of Samuel OZMENT (the OZMENTs were also from Caroline Co, MD) Guilford Co, NC Will Abstracts - Unrecorded Wills, pg. 145: MARGARET COOK - Noncupative Will - 13 Jan 1817 lists: Rebecca PAVEY, David STACK (he md. Sarah OZMENT, Richard's sister) and ISAAC ANDERSON. Does anyone know anything about this Margaret COOK? Was she the widow of a George COOK?? On the 1800 & 1810 Guilford Co. census, there was a LEVIN WILLIAMS. John PAVEY's sister, Mary "Polly" was md. to a Levin WILLIAMS. They may have had a daughter, Rebecca, who md: Lemuel GUNTER (b: 1804, son of Wm. & Margaret Jones GUNTER) in Guilford Co, 7/3/1824. Any information on any of these families will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Marsha McWilliams
