They moved to Ohio at some point and were married in 1820 in Clinton, OH. The Leonard family then moved to Tazewell County, IL in the 1830's or so. We are descended from Thomas/Hannah through their son Allen (married Louisa Fisher); then through their son Raphael (married Mary Louise Matthews); then through their son Howard (married Clara Etta McGuire); then through their daughter Helen Emma. I want to find information on who the ancestors of Thomas and Hannah are; where the families came from, why they came to NC (where they lived before arriving in NC) and then moved to OH and subsequently to IL. Any information anyone has would be most appreciated.
