My records indicate that John Monroe Andrew and Elizabeth Pritchett Phipps married 5 March 1867. Elizabeth was first married to Emsi Monroe Phipps, who was killed in the Civil War. Elizabeth was born 14 September 1840 to the family of John Allen & Mary [Lowe ] Pritchett. In my notes from the bible record - it states that Elizabeth's birthday was February 14, 1840 - but on the tombstone it is listed as September. Hope this helps. Jean May Greensboro, NC
