I'm hoping we can connect somewhere. ROBERT H. THOMPSON, b 1804 in Guilford Co., NC to WILLIAM THOMPSON and SARAH MULLINS. William had a brother ROBERT, B 1762. Robert H. Thompson married Martha (Jones?) and lived in Bedford Tenn. Children includ ALVA 1841, D. 1845, R. 1849, Samuel 1829, Henry 1831, Mary 1833, Evaline 1837, Benjamin 1844, and Robert H. 1856. Alva moved on to Texas in late 1850-early 1860's and is my husband's ancestor. This Thompson family may have had a close relationship to the Woody and/or Mann families of Orange Co. NC.
