NC Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/Guilford?read=1472 Surname: STACK, BARTLETT, DEEN ------------------------- William Lineberry Stack's parents, Leaven Stack and Priscilla Deen Stack were married in Guilford County, NC in 1842. In 1850 they were in Forsyth County. William enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1861 and deserted to the Union in 1863 in Virginina. He went to Indiana in about 1868. His wife, Lorena Bartlett died in Acton, Indiana. William went on to Indianpolis and then to Kankakee, Illinois. He married Julie Rouse in Covington, Kentucky in 1890. In 1928 he returned to High Point where he died. He is buried somewhere near High Point. If anyone knows anything about William Lineberry Stack, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks! Linda Miller
