It is so rare to hear of anything on my Weir. I was lucky enough recently to purchase a book, History of Guilford Co. NC by Sallie W. Stockard, 1902. It has a wealth of history with some Park(s)or (e) mentioned. I will find those for you if they would help. Many folks here, then moved to Ind. the book says. I am not a descendant of the Weir's, but research Samuel Park Weir, Con.soldier, son of David Park Weir. (have David's photo. Have been in their home located at 224 N. Edgeworth St. Greensboro, NC. It is on historic homes list. I believe these Weir's came from Pa, from Ireland. This family is buried in Presbyterian Cemetary on Davie St. Greensboro. Have photos of the gravestones.
