Susan, I have nothing on the HENDRICKS, but do have a little on KIRKMANs..... CAUSY (CAUSEY), John md. Ann KARKMAN (KIRKMAN), dau. of Elisha on May 2, 1811, Guilford Co, NC. John Dunham, bondsman; Roddy Hannah, Jr., Witness. The KIRKMANs migrated from the Caroline Co, MD area (probably along with the Nicolite SULLIVAN family, who they did intermarry with.) Some of the Kirkman's did migrate on to southern Illinois. Henry Hendricks came to Guilford by 1790. His son, James Hendricks , was in Guilford until 1850. James Hendricks married Sarah "Sally" Kirkman, daughter of Elisha Kirkman, in the early 1800's. Elisha was the son of James Kirkman. Susan
