In doing so, I stumbled on 2 persons who married into that family with origins in Guilford County, NC. They are siblings, JIM and SARAH DOUGAN. Jim was born on October 14, 1861...Sarah was born about 1863. There are a few descendants of each listed in the book I am working out of...if interested, let me know. Hope this helps someone.
