NC May Term 1829 Will Book B Page 384 In the name of God Amen, I John BRINCEFIELD of the County of Guilford and in the state of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory---(Blessed be God) do this 25th day of March AD One Thousand Eight hundred and twenty nine make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say. First I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife delitha BRINCEFIELD All my lands and tenements With The appertenances Thereunto belongings dwelling houses--kitchens and all the necessary buildings Thereonto belonging now in my (can not read -un?) and Where i now live, and also where my son in law Alexander SKENES now lives during his natural life or widowhood and all my horses Cattle hogs sheep household and kitchen furniture and all my farming utensils, and in short Everything which I now possess, I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife delitha BRINCEFIELD during her natural life or widowhood. Then after her decease I will and bequeath all the lands tenements appertenances thereunto belonging, dwelling house kitchen . Where I now live unto my son Thomas BRINCEFIELD allso after the deceased of my wife I will and bequeath unto my son in law Alexander SKENES fifty acres of land out of the tract where he now lives Including the dwelling house kitchen barn stables & all necessary buildings spring orchards. Which land it is my will and desire he should not sell but be for the use of his wife and children For Ever and that the rest of said tract of land it is my will and desire Should then be sold [the money] and equally divided between my son Clement BRINCEFIELD and my daughter Elizabeth JONES. It is my will and desire that my daughter lilly UNDERWOOD should have one dollar out of my estate, I also will and bequeath unto my son John BRINCEFIELD one hundred dollars which it is my will and desire he should have after the death of my wife which is to be paid by my son Thomas BRINCEFIELD. I allso will and bequeath unto leven WALKER one dollar. After the death of my wife it is my desire that all the stock household & kitchen furniture should be sold & the money equally divided amongst the girls. Thereby make and ordain my worthy wife Delitha BRINCEFIELD executrix of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I the said John BRINCEFIELD have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year just above written Signed Sealed published and declared by the said John BRINCEFIELD the testator as his last will and testament in the presence of who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof.
