    3. Jo White Linn in her 16 years of publication of _Rowan County Register_ abstracted in one issue a year from the loose estate papers for Rowan County through 1850. In those 16 years, she got from "A" through CUTHRELL. Volume 9, No. 2, May 1994, pp. 1989-2018 is entirely on the surname BROWN, covering 70 different estates. These also include comments from Betty Dan Gilliam Spencer. Mention is made that several files were co-mingled, and some files have been separated into two parts.
