He married ELIZABETH SHAW, 4 Nov 1779 in Guilford Co., NC (available at Raleigh, NC) and was in the Revolutionary War at the battle of Guilford Court House (Pension #R7431). Family tradition tells that his ancestor/ancestor's were from Ireland. Worth S. Ray's book Tennessee Cousin's tells that his father was Rev. David Morrow, son of David Morrow, son of Alexander Morrow, son of David Morrow and son of Daniel Morrow. Internet accounts of this family say they were from England. If these accounts are true then I do not believe Rev. David, and etc. are the correct ancestors. Is there a will or probate records for Rev. David Morrow? Is so, what/where can it be obtained?
