I do not have any direct information about Enoch Causey. However, I have a Causey connection through my Tucker ancestors in Guilford County. Margaret "Peggy" Causey (1760-1844) married Levi Tucker (1755-1816) in Maryland about 1781. He and Margaret moved to Guilford County in 1785 settling north of Pleasant Garden at Vandalia. The information I have regarding Margaret's father Zebulon is: The CAUSEY and KIMMEY/KIMME families apparently were connected to the Nicolites of the Caroline Co, MD (originally taken from part of Dorchester Co) area, and probably were in some of the earlier Nicolite groups who migrated to Guilford Co from that area (ca. 1774/75.) Exr: Son Zebulon Causey Wits: Hugh SHERWOOD, William FITZGERALD (my note: The SHERWOOD's were originally from Caroline Co, MD, also. This Hugh SHERWOOD migrated to Washington Co, IN by 1820. He was a close neighbor of my ancestor, ANDERSON PAVEY ... whose parents were John PAVEY - (Mary?) ANDERSON, connected to the Nicolite ANDERSON family. Hugh SHERWOOD lived very close to Pleasant Garden in Guilford Co.)
