One always has to allow for the phonetic spellings of the county clerks. If you're not doing this already, you probably need to search records for various forms of that surname. I believe the variations that are most common in the Guilford records are Perdue and Pardue and Perdew. The marriage bondsman was Saml. Heath, so that won't help you in terms of clues for her family. Try wills and estates, and then land records -- although land records often help more with the sons than the daughters. Also, remember that Guilford County was created in 1771 from a section of Rowan and a section of Orange, and it would be wise to check records for those jurisdictions as well. I am a Heath descendant, from Smith Heath, who died in Guilford County in 1816.
