Several asked for the names I am researching, they are: ALEXANDER STARRETT (STARRATT, STARRITT, STERRETT, STERRATA AND OTHER VARIATIONS) BORN DECEMBER 4, 1808, GUILFORD CO. NC (ACCORDING TO 1850 CENSUS RECORDS) DIED FEBRUARY 24, 1881, EASTON, BUCHANAN CO. MO MARRIED NANCY GRAY BORN DECEMBER 12, 1814 IN GUILFORD CO. NC (ACCORDING TO 1850 CENSUS RECORDS) DIED SEPTEMBER 6, 1909, EASTON, BUCHANAN CO. MO. They were the parents of 11 children, including 2 who died in NC, Rowena Starrett b. 17-7-1837 d. 4-11-1837 and Theresa Starrett b. 14-7-1840 d. 27-7-1842 Greensboro. According to family legend, they were Scotch-Irish and Presbyterians. I have not been able to find any information on either Alexander or Nancy's parents, siblings etc. I have been looking for this family for almost 30 years, tried the LDS History Center, films, etc. but so far no luck. If any of this is familiar to anyone, please let me know. Thanks, Jane -- = MZ=90 --------------81B2EAB12BE--
