I have a copy of the 1850 census and have found my gggrandfather and family on it. From the information that I have they were in the Greensboro area at that time. They left NC in 1858 to come to MO. I would like to find their parents and any siblings. According to the census they were born in NC. Where would be the best place to start my search and what would be the best thing to explore to hopefully find this information? I have tried LDS films, going to libraries with information etc. We will not have a lot of time in NC, so want to use my time to the best advantage. Thanks for any help.
