It has some interesting information, such as transcriptions of local cemeteries by the local chapter of the "Daughters of the American Revolution" from the 1930's-1960's. In addition, they had about 25 volumes of family trees submitted by people. They also have a good selection of bound volumes of Genealogical Journals from various North Carolina sources. Otherwise, there was a disappointing amount of specific local information. They did have 'Family Files', but most of them were extremely limited in scope. In the four family files that related to me, there was a total of one newspaper clipping. The total number of these files was perhaps 1/10th (or less) compared to what I found in the Asheboro Library in neighboring Randolph County. I wasn't able to make it to the High Point Library.
