Dear David, I for one am never offended by the reading of message where someone expresses kind thanks to another who most likely is a complete stranger. In a world full of so much rudeness it is a pleasant experience for me. However I have to disagree with the assumption that there is no value in these messages. In fact, there are times when the subject line will ring a bell for me, even though it did not mean anything to me at the time of the original posting. I work a little on my research on a daily basis and discover new clues or avenues for research. Last weeks useless information may be the one clue I need this week. All the same, I thank you for your input. You need not reply through the list or to me personally. I just felt the overwhelming need to share.
