They were the children of Risdon and Mary Smyth MOORE who married in MD circa 1750. This family is outlined in the book, "A History of the Descendents of Shildes Moore in America from 1732 to 1891" by Geo. L. Moore. Thomas Moore's family started moving to Indiana circa 1825 following Thomas' death in Guilford Co. NC. They first stopped in Randolph Co. IN before settling in Hendricks Co. IN. Daughter Rebecca and the ODELLs did not relocate to IN until the mid-1830s. In the late 1840s Rebecca Moore ODELL's family and her brother's (Smyth MOORE) family moved on further west to Adams Co. IL, and they are buried there in Pleasant View Cemetery (located in Clayton Twp).
