This Memorial Day weekend I would like to remember two of Greensboro's heros - Major George E. PREDDY, who was KIA 25 Dec 1944 and his brother Lt. William PREDDY who was KIA 17 Apr 1945. There is information on these two at my website http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~lrnoah/ . The question here is who were their paternal Grandparents? Their father was George Earle PREDDY born 24 Jul 1889 and died 9 Jul 1972 in Greensboro. The only information I have on the father's parents is that their names were George Madison PREDDY and Sarah Caroline MORGAN. I have no dates or locations on these two.
