Hello, I am new to the list and wonder if anyone has any info on the following people? I am currently following a lead to Stephen RUKE and the "Louisa" that is listed with him in 1850 Census in Guilford Co. NC. Is this "Louisa" Stephen's second wife? There is a "Keziah" listed with a Louisa RUKE (no Stephen listed in 1870) in 1870 in Guilford Co., NC. There is no relationship listed, but the age fits for the "Keziah" that I am searching for. (See below) Seeking information on Keziah Adeline ROOKS. She was born Sep 1841. (Birthdate from burial information.) She married Daniel Winfield LOHR in November 1870 in Davidson County, NC. Keziah died in 1890 and was buried at Prospect United Cemetery, Randolph County, NC. I cannot find any info on Keziah's parents or birthplace. In checking the Federal Census for North Carolina, I find Keziah with her husband in Randolph Co. in the 1880 Census. I do not find her with parents in any of the earlier census for NC. Would anyone have any clues or information on Keziah ROOKS? Or if Louisa was indeed Stephen RUKE's wife? Thank you for your time.
