It seems that no one out there has a marriage bond image for submission.... all the more reason, I guess, to set up website pages with those images. I am going to go ahead and start compiling a "priority list" of marriage bonds that are requested as look-up's. So, can I ask that we start with: one couple per request, and one request per person for now. I don't know how many people are on this mailing list, and I may get an avalanche in response. I'd rather start this way for now, rather than do whole surnames at one time, or I might easily be snowed under. I will make a list of the requests in the order that they come in, and I will take them in that order, working on them as time permits, so it may take a little while to get a response to your request. It does not matter if your request is submitted on or off the mailing list. Some might prefer that it be off-list. I would post the information on the appropriate webpage for the particular surname. If you are looking for a groom, please give me the groom's name, and a date range of 10 or less years (ex., 1800-1810). For example, you might request a look-up for Charles Benbow about 1810-1815. That would go on the "B" page, obviously. If there are two or more by the same name in the same date range, I'll do all of those. If you are looking for a bride, then please give me a range of 10 or less years, and I'll post any brides by that name that I find in that date range -- but that information will be listed by the grooms' surnames. I will let you know which surname pages to check. Please remember that nothing is as good as the image, so do consider trying to get that, instead of being content with information obtained second- or third-hand.
