I am looking at two books which cover deed books one and two abstracted by Timothy Kearney and edited by William D. Bennett in the Rowan County library. This is said to cover the years between 1771 and 1784. If my Silas Wooten is not mentioned in the land transactions, can I assume that he would not be found in the Deed books themselves? Are these abstractions pretty much complete? Marsha not in WV temporarily
