He was born in Guilford County on March 7, 1941, to the late Blanche Bundy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a mechanical engineer for Carolina Cold Storage. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; a caring brother and a helpful neighbor. Mr. Bundy was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Bundy. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bundy of the home; a son, Ronnie Bundy of Martinsville, Va.; three daughters, Lisa Prevette of North Wilkesboro, Debbie Bundy of Winston-Salem, Kay Johnson of Snow Camp; two brothers, David Hepler of Randleman, Bobby Hepler of Durham; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will have a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Cox-Needham Chapel in Pilot Mountain, with the Rev. J.B. Parker Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice of Mount Airy, 401 Technologies Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
