As stated in your abstract, the land was PART of a Granville District [not to be confused with Granville County) Land Grant to Aaron FRAZIER on 30 July 1760. >From Margaret M. Hofmann, _The Granville District of North Carolina 1748-1763, Volume Three_, (Ahoskie, NC: Atlantic Printing, 1989), 63, Aaron FRAZIER on 13 July 1760 had a grant of 602 acres in Rowan County in the Parish of St. Luke on the SW side of Deep River and on both sides of Frazier's Fork. /s/ Aaron FRAZIER. Wits: W. CHURTON, Wm. MILLIKAN examined by: Richard VIGERS and W CHURTON. Surveyed 18 Oct. 1759. Chain carriers: Aaron EVANS, John FRAZIER. W. CHURTON Surveyor. Fred Hughes' map of Guilford County shows Frazier's Creek entering the Deep River just a few hundred feet north of the now Guilford/Randolph County line, coming into Deep Creek from th west side.
