He shows up as an orphan, bound for an apprenticeship in 1819 in Guilford County. Recently I have found info about Greens in Guilford County around 1800. There is a Robert Green being granted 200 acres in 1787. This land is on South Buffalo Creek. It is just North of present day Randolph County Line. I am waiting for the actual documents to be mailed to me. They will show Green's, Armfield's, and Little's, Mitchells, and some other people in this same area. There is some indictation that there are ties among these people, such as marriage, and land buying and selling. If anyone can shed more light on these people as far as connections please let me know. For a long time I have seen bits and pieces indicating there were ties, but until now no proof. I don't think I will have a lot of proof when I get the documents, but at least more than I did have. Thanks for any help you can give.
